Course Summary

In this training, I guide you through the fundamentals of sugaring step-by-step so you can confidently offer this natural, low-temperature hair removal service in your treatment room.  

You’ll learn how to:
  • Work with sugar paste using the hand method
  • The flicking technique
  • And proper application patterns to remove hair efficiently and comfortably.
We’ll cover:
  • Product consistency
  • Temperature control
  • Hand positioning
  • And how to tailor your technique for different body areas and hair types. 

I also walk you through sanitation requirements, contraindications, and how to maintain client comfort throughout the service. This course also provides guidance on consultation, pre-care, aftercare, and tips for preventing common issues such as lifting, bruising, or excessive redness. You’ll gain clarity on how sugaring compares to waxing, when to choose one method over the other, and how to educate clients on the benefits of this natural approach.

Although this is a legacy CE course and no longer approved for CE hours, the education remains timeless. These are the same techniques I’ve taught in professional classrooms and spa settings for years—practical, proven, and adaptable to real-world clients.
